Our goal at Inns en Route is to provide a high quality "hotel experience", from the moment
you start researching where to stay to the day you check out. To this end, we've assembled a
listing of personally-recommended quality accommodations and our staff are available to help
with recommendations and reservations. We provide local contact numbers wherever possible to
assist you with any problems you should experience during your travels.
Unlike most guides, hotels can't pay to be on our sites - listing is by invitation only. In order to
keep our hotel listings relevant, we spot visit our hotels, as well as carefully review client feedback. We back
all this up with government licensing and insurance, an excellent profile in the BBB, industry standard
encryption through Thawte and hundreds of unsolicited client comments. We've served over 100,000 clients
since starting reservations in 2000.
Inns en Route operates two offices: the head office is located in Victoria, British Columbia

Celeste and Lorena are the friendly people with whom many of you
will be dealing. They make up the core of our reservations team, as well as providing
travel expertise for South America, website content management, and working on new countries.
Nick, Ashley, Barbara, and Scott are the founders of Inns en Route. Together they take
care of the less glamourous aspects the travel sites: Website and Software development, Accounting,
PR, etc. They also vet the majority of hotels on our websites.

Peter is literally a world traveller, having sailed around the globe for many years. He was the
mainstay in developing our Costa Rican site. Stanley is also a world traveller, artist, and writer. He has
contributed some beautifully written descriptions for many of our hotels, and has also written pieces for top-shelf
travel magazines (some of which involved staying at our hotels).
